It’s been too long!

Happy weekend everyone! This is the middle sister, Jessica and I have not blogged for a while! I can’t believe it is February already and even though I love winter, all three of us in our house have been sick over the last month and have gone through way too many tissues…..so I am definitely ready for spring!

I was able to finish a quilt that I took wayyyy too long to sew for an in-law’s baby shower. She is expecting a baby boy and she loves the Chicago Bears so I decided I would use the colors orange, navy and white in the quilt. Of course, I am horrible at using the machine quilter and I got some much needed help from my younger sister, Cassie.

Got this quilt done finally and last minute for a baby shower today! #quilts #procrastinator

My sister, Cassie ordered some amazing Maureen Cracknell Wild & Free fabrics for our mom’s shop and her Etsy site (https://www.etsy.com/people/clpquilts). It is gorgeous and I love the metallic stars and so did my two year old daughter!

WIld & Free for Friday's Fabric Giveaway!!

I plan on making some easy chocolate Valentine cookies this weekend and hopefully they will be as cute as the picture I found on Pinterest (fingers crossed).

Have a great weekend!

Jessica

  1. Wonderful stripe there! I expect I could think of ways to use it… 🙂 And the chevron baby quilt is great. Bonus points on the Bears (they could use a few!)
